IADA Website Sales Top $1.6 Billion

Eagle Creek Aviation is one of the first groups to earn official accreditation from the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA).

From AIN:

An aircraft sales website created by the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) has seen more than $1.6 billion in sales of more than 235 pre-owned aircraft in its first seven months of operation, the group announced. “The sales of previously owned aircraft have actually exceeded our expectations for a startup website and the momentum is building,” IADA executive director Wayne Starling said. “That’s more than an aircraft a day seven days a week since beginning the site and we are getting spooled up for an even higher volume of aircraft sales going forward.”

Since its launch on February 1, the website has targeted high-net-worth individuals and C-level executives with preowned business aircraft listed exclusively by IADA accredited broker-members. Currently, more than 500 aircraft are listed for sale on the site, including nearly 400 jets, 70 turboprops, 20 piston airplanes, and 15 helicopters.

The organization said it has contracted with Diane Levine-Wilson to oversee the integrity of the aircraft information presented on the website.
