Each member of the Eagle Creek Aviation aircraft sales team has now achieved Certified Aircraft Broker status from the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA). The company’s Aircraft Sales Directors, Executive VP and CEO were among the first group of aircraft brokers to be certified by IADA.
Eagle Creek Aviation is also one of the first IADA accredited dealerships in the world.
“We have been in the aircraft sales business for nearly four decades, so we understand the importance of the client/broker relationship and the trust our clients have in us to provide them with the best selling and buying experience,” said Rick Branch, Executive VP of Sales. “The certification program through IADA has equipped our team with valuable information and resources that we can leverage for our clients.”

While only three percent of all aircraft dealer organizations merit IADA accreditation, they handle more than 60 percent of the used business jet transactions. IADA dealers recently reported a strong March, despite the COVID-19 crisis.
“The IADA accredited dealers are providing activity updates regularly. The first half of the March was very strong with business declining in the last half,” said Wayne Starling, Executive Director, IADA. “We are seeing a number of clients taking a ‘wait and see’ approach. Also, a number of dealers report signing up new clients who are ready to purchase. All of our members understand that these are challenging times, but together, we will get through this crisis. The IADA members are ready and willing to assist anyone and everyone where possible.”
All IADA members agree to participate in a program of ongoing education to remain current on best practices and new developments in acquiring and selling business aircraft and abide by a strict code of ethics that guarantees they will always conduct themselves honorably and represent the best interests of their clients. IADA represents a variety of product and aviation services that also operate with the highest professional standards in the industry.
