First Wing Maintenance Team Returns Record Number of Aircraft to Service in 1 Week

The First Wing Jet Center maintenance team has had a busy summer, and they don’t see it slowing down any time soon. At the beginning of July, First Wing returned 22 aircraft to service in one week, which broke a previous record of 20 aircraft in one week.

“I’m so grateful for the amazing team of A&Ps and avionics technicians we have here at First Wing,” said Randy Ells, Director of Maintenance. “Five years ago, we had a much smaller shop. We’ve seen business grow substantially since then, and we now employ a team of more than a dozen maintenance technicians. Their hard work has paid off for our customers by decreasing downtime and improving customer satisfaction, both of which have contributed to the growth of the shop.”

First Wing Jet Center is a Part 145 Repair Station and multi-year FAA Diamond Award of Excellence recipient. The service center was also named by Cirrus Aircraft as a “Rising Star Service Center.”
