Jet Access Part 145 Service Centers Receive FAA Diamond Award of Excellence

Eagle Creek Aviation and First Wing Jet Center, now a part of Jet Access, have once again received the AMT Diamond Award of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for participating in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program in 2021. Eagle Creek has earned the award 11 times and First Wing has earned the award six times.

The Diamond Award of Excellence is the FAA’s highest award for aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) and employers and recognizes aviation maintenance companies that initiate and sustain highly effective training programs aimed at improving safety, quality, reliability, and technical knowledge that exceed standard FAA regulatory requirements. To qualify for a Diamond Award of Excellence, 100 percent of eligible technicians must complete and pass specialized, continuous training in aviation maintenance, regulations, and FAA rules annually.

In 2021, all AMTs employed by the Eagle Creek and First Wing service centers spent more than 1,500 hours in training –online, in the classroom, and on-the-job.

“As a company, we are committed to excellence in everything we do, including ensuring that we continue to invest in our technicians through training and education. We believe our customers are best served by professionals who are continually learning and utilizing industry best practices,” said Scott Dillon, President, Eagle Creek Aviation. “We are honored to be recognized by the FAA for that commitment.”

Eagle Creek Aviation and First Wing Jet Center recently announced a merger with Jet Access to leverage their unique positions within the industry to create a national entity and brand capable of providing a full spectrum of private aviation needs.

Jet Access operates multiple FAA-approved Part 145 aircraft repair facilities that have award-winning expertise in aircraft sized from piston single engine aircraft (including Platinum level factory approved service for Cirrus Aircraft) up to mid- and large-cabin Jets, including operation of one of the largest Embraer Authorized Phenom Service facilities in the United States.
