IADA Certifies 41 Aircraft Brokers

AIN is asking pilots to update and give new ratings for FBOs they had visited in the preceding 12 months. The survey asks them to evaluate FBOs they visited the previous year in five categories: line service; passenger amenities; pilot amenities; facilities; and customer service representatives (CSRs).

Garmin Introduces Rudder Bias Programming For Twins

Garmin has added another cockpit automation—this time it’s programming to help conventional-twin pilots when an engine quits. Called Smart Rudder Bias, the programming added to the GFC 600 autopilot, for “select” twins, helps provide proactive rudder input in the event of a power loss while indicators on the primary instrument tell the pilot which engine has rolled back.
